What's this all about?

Hello! I'm Narelle, the group founder and organiser.

English in Toulouse is a free conversation club and friendship network, open to anyone in the Toulouse area who can speak English fluently. It has been running since April 2005.

There are over 500 members in the club, from a diverse range of cultures including: Australian, Kiwi, Irish, Scottish, American, Canadian, Indian, Polish, Russian, German — and of course French!

Happy Hour: join us for Friday night drinks!

After French Fridays those who want to continue chatting often move on to a pub or restaurant.

Last Wednesdays

Join us for drinks at the end of every month at our Last Wednesdays meeting.

Crowne Plaza Night: a bilingual event

Join us for a French/English language exchange every month at Crowne Plaza Nights.

What's on?

We meet twice a month at the pub and weekly at a tea salon followed by happy hour drinks. We also have regular special events such as wine tours, hiking trips, quiz nights and more!

New venue for French Fridays

French Fridays has a new venue! We now meet at Le Boudoir. It is about 3 minutes' walk from the nearest metro station (Francois Verdier, line B).
